What's New

Is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for you? Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a relatively new treatment for multiple orthopedic conditions. It is becoming very popular worldwide. PRP is a concentration of platelets harvested from your own blood. Platelets have growth factors that promote healing in acute and chronic injuries. Injecting PRP into an area of injury may stimulate and enhance your body's ability to heal the condition.

Computer-Assisted Surgery is a giant step forward in joint replacement. Advanced computer-assisted surgical monitoring with the Stryker Navigation System helps your surgeon more precisely align your hip or knee implant with computer imaging. The Stryker Navigation System gives your surgeon 3-D imaging of your leg during surgery which may result in more exact placement of the implants.

Hip Resurfacing is a procedure that uses a metal cap over the hip ball and that may conserve more bone than traditional hip replacement procedures.

Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) is an advancement in knee and hip replacement that offers potential important advantages over standard surgical procedures. MIS Joint Replacement is indeed "minimally invasive," requiring smaller incisions and potentially causing less trauma to the soft tissues than traditional techniques.
